But I also list fun community activities for you and your family to attend. I will blog about your local yard sales, Book Sale events at your local library as well. So, you see, in Community Corner column of my blog, I write just about anything to keep you connected! I provide the dates, times, places and other vital information to keep you in the loop.

Readers, I want to encourage you to send me your event information, because Blog Pages, SUCH AS MINE, are read all over the world And you never know who it may reach or what positivity they may get form what you write! With that, that this is also a place where you yourself can contact me and have things listed here as well. PLEASE NO ...LARGE BLING BLING earrings, rings, etc.! no flashy dyed hair coloring.

COME NEAT, FRESH BREATH, (USE MINTS, NO GUM PLEASE!) Also, have a copy of your resume, your best attitude and wear you brightest smiles.

Tip...(Clean teeth will give you added confidence to smile :)

Also, practice your best speaking skills. Speak clearly, loose the 'likes', the 'You Know's and the 'umms. Keep eye contact. Ask relevant questions.

Community Corner - MY HEALTH & Pleaurisy

HEY READERS,

I want to just take a moment to tell you of a health concern that recently has and still is affecting me and my respiratory system. Yep! It's that time of season. Further more, the world we live in, it's that time of life! Where you could be hit by anything at anytime. The point in telling you about my condition, is just me me wanting to warn you. Just want you to be careful with the weather changing so quickly, at least if you're in Michigan like I am. Anyway, I have something called 'Pleurisy'. Don't worry. Its not fatal, (THANK GOD). Nor is it contagious. And if you heard me cough, you might mistake it for a cold or a really bad smokers cough. It's not a cold, nor do I smoke, so that strikes those things.

What PLEURISY IS, is a respiratory illness often medically treated like Bronchitis. It is temporary and can stay that way, if you get medical attention and take care of yourself! but if left untreated, it can develop into Pneumonia and you don't want that! I was fortunate that I got help after several very painful days of developing a very dry cough. The cough was accompanied by a deep, eye squinting, breath-stopping, head hanging, chest pain! That even when I swallowed my saliva, by the time it got down into the middle of my chest, it hurt just for that to squeeze past! Turns out my lung lining and airways were inflamed and something was rubbing against the other that wasn't supposed to rubbing against the other anything! UGHHH! I have no real cold symptoms, not a lot of sneezing, running nose, running eyes, fever, headache too much. I needed medical attention. The pain was too great!

I spent 4 hours in a local hospital Emergency on this past Sunday morning. After about 20 minutes of getting there, I was signed in at the registry, a mask was put on my face as is common with cough. I was then escorted to the treatment area and in less than an hour, I was put in a room right next to he nurses area. I was put quickly on fluids, including intravenous antibiotics. A nurse took blood sample, a urine sample, and I started being thoroughly being tested. Testing included flu testing for "any flu" the nice nurse said as she stabbed me in both nostrils with a long cotton swab that touched the back of my throat! All this was finally accompanied by a Thorough chest x-ray. I was also given a strong cough medicine, a pain reliever and told "to lay back and try to relax" while my results were being finalized. After those few hours and all the quick, professional and almost painless (minus the nose jabbing) patient care. All in all, I was sent on my way with good news, a bunch of prescriptions, including 20 doses of antibiotics, a respiratory inhaler, and a sun bright smile from my Doc who said she recognized the symptoms in me right-away as soon as she saw me!

She described her experience as she "thought she was having a heart attack and about to die." The chest pain she experienced was just as great! She said she knew exactly what I meant with the squeezing, saliva chest thing! It was good to have my lead medical person know what I was going through! This may seem strange reader, but hearing her say that about her experience, while standing in front of me strong, healthy and smiling, actually made me feel better almost immediately if only in my mind. My body has later to catch up to that healing feeling. (Next week, I should be right as rain and not sounding like a frog out in the rain! My voice is croaking. Just call me croaker! Ha!) Still, the Doc made me feel better, filled me with hope. What she said even took the sting out of having a new hospital bill! Hey, I gotta think about that too! Who you think gotta find a way to pay it? Santa Clause?

Anyway reader, let this be a lesson. Don't take your health for granted and don't just start popping cough drops. Go get checked out! You are worth the cost.

Not having medical insurance myself right now, I discovered the miracle of low cost prescription help at Meier's Grocery store. The nice Pharmacist there even told me about their discount drug store card they can run through to check on prices. The friend that was with me, even told about a similar Prescription discount program at Walmart, Kroger's Grocery Stores and Target, none the less. On the way home from the hospital, she was willing to take me to these places to the get the best deal, but Meijers came through. Wow! That's a friend! And some of these places I mentioned, you can get $4.00 generic antibiotics. Check it out the next time you need to fill a prescription and think you can't afford to take care of yourself!

You give it to your babies and other children. You

think it's good for you and that you have to have it,

in order to be healthy. You may also think that you are being a good parent if you provide it for your

child. Unless it is organic, it is questionable if it is

really good for them! Typically, what you are buying in the store is "SWILL MILK".

I'M SPEAKING OUT AGAINST

PHYSICAL, SEXUAL, EMOTIONAL & VERBAL ABUSE.

(IT ALL AFFECTS YOU MENTALLY!)

For the perpetrator of abuse...

You don't have to live in that prison of evil, hurt and shame either!

I don't know how you got started hurting other people, but something happened!

Sometimes victims can turn into perpetrators!

Even if that is the case, you don't have the right, PERPETRATOR , to hurt others!

One of my brothers, a perpetrator, even up to this day, uses the phrase,

"But I'm your brother!"

He used to say that as if that gave and gives him, some sort of rights to me!

Rights to say whatever he wants to say to me or do whatever he wants!

Them words don't mean nothing to me!

AHHHHHHH! Makes me want to scream!

Sick, just sick!

THER IS A NEED FOR HELP!

But whether victim or perpetrator, you do not deserve to live hurting!

And you don't have to die because of your pain either!

You can survive this in tact!

Go seek and get the help that you need, PLEASE!

COMMUNITY CORNER- Concern for Another

Hannah Senesh...

My New Hero.

Hannah, a Palestinian Jew, born in Hungary was a Zionist and prolific poet.

Captured, beaten and imprisoned by the Gestapo.

'Senesh', was a resistance spy and parachutist for Palestine.

She was

...an affective enemy of Hitler and Germany in 1945.

Martyred in Palestine.

Her body toured Palestine and lay in state for 3 days!

She is laid to rest in Palestine, forever honored along side some of her comrades.

She was 22 years old,

when she made her last, remarkably courageous stand.

She stood up for and died for ..."the two great passions in her life".

One was her country, Hungary.

The other was her mother, Catherine Senesh, a Jew and death march escapee.

Hannah was trying to do her small part and help "liberate" as many, even one Jew (especially her mother) from the hands of the Natzees.

Though she did not succeed, she did get to spend time in the same prison,

with her mother.

Who knows how Hannah's courage strengthened her mother!

After several months and a trial, early one morning, Hannah was escorted

out of her cell and into an execution.

5 day later, her mother, Catherine, was forced on a death march and escaped.

She lived out her days in Palestine with her only son, Giore.

Catherine Senesh, lived a long, long life, living to see many celebrations of her daughters life and Hannah's amazing poetry.

They called Hannah, another Joan of Ark.

Readers, we proclaim love for country.

We even proclaim love for each other.

If ever it came time, to prove your love

in the ultimate fashion, would you? Could you?

What or who, will you really stand up for?

ONE PERSON, CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

And victory, is not always marked by a happy ending.

This is

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT #3

If you have ever been abuse victim

Don't be silent!

You don't owe your abuser that!

You don't owe them anything!

It doesn't matter if the one who is hurting you is your Momma, brother, sister, uncle, cousin, mommas mate, your Foster care parents, the neighbor the teacher,

Your priest or preacher.

It doesn't even matter if it is your

daddy!

However they are hurting you, SEXUALLY, MENTALLY, VERBALLY, PHYSICALLY

THEY SHOULD NOT BE DOING THAT TO YOU, not TO ANYONE!

Whoever it is...

You don't owe them your loyalty!

You owe it to them to tell and get them help!

And Sometimes they will be punished by the law...

Many times may have to go to jail, or to some other institution

to get them away from you!

Many times while there, they can get some them the help they need!

HOWEVER, the law needs to be involved!

If Momma, Daddy, Brother, Uncle, Teacher whoever the abuser is, if the are sentenced to jail..this may seem harsh,...

to some adults and Children (especially), but it IS NOT your problem!

You better not let guilt consume you, about getting out of that situation,

EVEN IF you have to call the police and watch those hurtful people

be hauled away by the cops!

IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!!!! YOU HEAR ME!!!

Oh! I need to know how to record my voice for this blog!

So you can hear me crying out to you !

If you are an adult,

Some of the same ways of seeking help, applies to you also!

Tell a best friend, Social Worker etc. Perhaps you would be better to seek out an organization. If you've been raped etc. go to the hospital or directly to the police, it don't matter who did it to you!

Don't be ashamed!

Somebody did this to you!

THEY DID THIS TO YOU!

And whoever hurt you does not value you!

You are worth loving "for real" and you are worth saving!

Let me tell you something, Reader (victim or perpetrator)

There are people waiting to come into your life to replace and make up for all the "bad People."

There is someone waiting to care for you, and be your friend.

They won't hurt you and they accept you, just as you are!

I know, because I have some really special people that have come into my life and so of them have remained with me.

So don't believe people when they hear your story and and may tell you you won't love you or "something is wrong with you!

If you are a woman, Go to a women's abuse shelter!

THERE IS HELP AND PROTECTION!

If you are a young person, TELL GET HELP!

I WAS HELPED SO, I KNOW it is help out there!

Whoever you go to, remember that they will need your full cooperation!

Remember, that you are strong and courageous.

For the victims,

You did not deserve the hurt they caused you!

STAY STRONG PEOPLE!
