COMMUNITY CORNER

Hey There Readers! It's time to update.

FOR THE ACTORS OR WANNABEES
*Editors Note:
Actually, acting skills can be very useful in other areas of work! Filmmakers, are often actors!
I have heard that the best directors are those who have been actors, because they understand each other, for one thing!

Acting skills are good for a career in VOICE ACTING. It helps you in developing characters, strengthens you in the area of improvisation. It helps you master the understanding of a scene and aids in script analysis. It also get you used to READING scripts. These are just a few tips for wanna be voice actors! GO TAKE ACTING LESSONS! It is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!

Acting skills can move an introvert to extrovert by giving a sense of confidence and heightened self-esteem levels!
(That's why I took acting classes in college). I wanted to stop being shy.
I was living loud on the inside, but not on the outside.

FIRST, I WANNA GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO AN AWARD WINNING Local actor that I know...MR. TONY LUCAS, of Detroit.

The Wilde Awards, southeast Michigan’s professional theatre

awards, were held at the Gem Theatre on August 26, 2009 and Tony Lucas won the BEST ACTOR for his role

in Radio Golf at Detroit Repertory Theatre.

YAY! WAY TO GO , MY FRIEND!!! CONGRATS, BROTHER!
