Hello My sisters, Women of the world!

Last weeks article got the attention of someone in another state!

Also, another lady that I know, stopped me and told me that she was very moved by the Sister Girls, poem series. She said especially the conversation that took place between the mother and the daughter (at the end of sister girls, part 2). She said, she and her mother had similar conversations, only her mother didn't turnout to be so understanding and didn't grow to know better! She said she wished that the outcome in the poem, was the outcome in her and her mother's relationship. "To this very day", she said, "my mother still does not see anything wrong with the way my ex treated me, and he beat me! My mother still talks about him like he was an angel. You let that good man get away! He was a good provider", her mother said.

I just stood there looking at the lady. Wow! That was powerful, her letting me in like that and sharing her story with me! I just am thankful that she found her strength, got away, divorced that man and is living safe and free! I also felt very, very grateful that I get to write like I'm moved to write. Like my friend said, "it is for a purpose". (See "Meetta's Readers" column)

I want to thank her for responding. Not to tell her business so, I'll just say, YOU know who you are! I know you are reading this. (She told me that she reads my blog often). I am thankful for that woman. She encourages me. It's not like I'm getting paid to do this!

(Yet!) One can dream and hope. Can't one? (prepare, persist & pursue)

Life... is about the journey, just as much as it is, about the destination.

It is for women like that lady above and myself, that I write. I write from my heart. Freely sharing things that I've experienced, know about, heard about or am just passionate about. I write about what I see, hear, feel and think about. I share these things with you in mind, hoping that it empowers you to live your best life! I hope these words I have written and the words that I have yet to write will motivate you to see yourself in ways bigger than you have ever dreamed!

So, please read and grow! If you appreciate what I write, please share my blog site. Also, feel free to comment at the end of each column that you have feelings about.

This column is meant to stimulate knowledge and growth. Somebody needs to know that she is NOT ALONE. I just trust and hope in Christ Jesus, God The Father and the Holy Spirit, that YOU know it!

SISTER GIRLS!

Help me out with this!...

You have a man and you're living together

(which by the way without marriage is not good to do and NO! Every body is not doing it!)

Hang with me now, I'm pushing on!

Anyhow, you are living together and everything is going good.

You two, are fitting in.

Then, you start to have kids. I mean kid on top of kid!

You find out that your man ain't all that you think he is.

Sister Girl,

What goes through your mind for you to think that it is OK and fine

that your man is all for the making, but he is not interested in

getting a job, bringing home the bacon to help take care of you and all those babies>

You had one job, now you have to get two!

Somebody has got pay the bills.

Your (Sister Girls) family AND friends pitch in

with food and help babysit those kids.

Your situation is hard enough to fathom, but

just for a moment think about this.

Do you think that if you did not have those family and friends pitching in,

that you would have had so many kids?

*Sister Girls, (Family and Friends)...sometimes we mean to help, but what we're really doing is stopping them from helping themselves and we end up encouraging unwanted behavior.)

It's called being an enabler.

Making it possible for the person you are helping to continue to do what they are doing!

You get that don't you?

Still, my sister with man and all those kids,

where does that you leave you?

While you're still thinking...

Without those helpful women helping you,

would you have still been shacking with that unproductive man.

producing the children (and problems) that you both produced?

Sister Girls, these are examples of what we take from the other gender AND put on OURSELVES and OTHER WOMEN!

I hope you know that it is a better way and that you find it.

My life ...

At my job in "Mini-Hollywood land", (Still searching for a good name to call it), we are getting ready for the winter "shows". So, on last Thursday, I got called to schedule a fitting for the dresses I will wear during the HOlidays. I'll be in two different "shows" so I'll get to switch up.

Yes! with both dresses I will have to wear a corset, but it's really not bad. In fact, I PREFER to wear one! To think, I used to dodge wearing one every time in the past. But, I have found that corsets are good back support and if worn properly, (to fit the natural shape of your curves) it can be good for your posture and chest area (hiking "the girls" up can be a good thing). You end up looking like your were poured out a beautiful mold. Boy oh boy! I never looked so good!

Hey costume people,

after this is all done, Can I keep my corset?

One can dream. Well, guess I gotta buy my own.

In this world, there is so much injustice that I can't just keep sitting back not voicing my thoughts on a large scale. Other people do it, so why not share mine! And if truth be told, many of those people who are speaking aloud really should keep their opinions to themselves for all of the ignorant things they say. Have you ever watched or read those entertainment magazines where they quote certain public figures? MY GOSH!

It's a wonder that some of them still show their faces out in the world!

That just simply amazes me!

As for you and me? In case you have not been reading my blog page, you'll find that I actually have a lot to say! I can be really deep and intellectual. Really! No kidding!

I've been known to put a spin on things as well, evoking thought.

I am strong and passionate. I WILL NO longer BE SILENT!

MEN, WOMEN, & CHILDREN

This is the BIG COLUMN!!!

This is where I get to write about ALL of the subject matter that concerns me about men, women and children on EVERY LEVEL!

I'll write about everything from singleness to marriage, to parenting, to divorce and child support issues. A HUGE ISSUE I have with men is the sayings some of them have, teach and live by. Sayings like ...

"It's cheaper to keep her" and "I want a good woman". Male domination issues , rape, molestation, incest, the REAL ROLE of a husband and Dad, why SOME men turn on a woman when she does not respond favorably by calling her all out of her name, are other topics sure to come as well as many, many more!

The role of a mother and wife, What is a baby's Mama? and working women will also be some topics. I will talk about Women schisms too! Schisms like, why SOME women think they need sugar daddy's to pay their bills. We'll talk about a womans' worth, celibacy and women, prostitution, abused women, and single mothers for starters.

We'll also talk about the role of children, their purpose and position in the home, education and tips on how to raise them and more!

Teen SPEAK!

Is here to give a voice to teens. Though there are many outlets for teens voices to be heard on the subjects that concern them, there is still room for more! Especially considering the terrible atrocities that teens are unfortunately privy to. I want to let the "Teens Speak" on my blog.

I will pose a different subject every week, utilizing teenagers that I know as correspondents and informational sources. I will then publish the teens opinions about the subjects posed to them ..IN THEIR OWN WORDS.

(As this is a family blog, please note, I will use my editing powers to keep this blog clean. So, watch your words...No cursing and such.)

I won't publish that!

By the way teens, conversational cursing only lets the world THINK you are not intelligent enough to come up with a better word. Don't put yourself down like that.

Young people,

You are too beautiful and creative for that!

WOMEN, IF YOU ARE NON-INSURED AND NEED GYNECOLOGICAL AND BREAST SCREENING, PLEASE CALL THE BCCCP

(Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program at 1-888-242-2702.)

If you are eligible, you will be scheduled for free cervical cancer tests, pap smear, pap test, mammogram and follow up services as appropriate to the results of your screenings. You will first have an initial visit to get your history and been seen by their medical staff. After that, appointments will be arranged for you at a clinic or Hospital facility for the screenings and appropriate tests.

Please tell the telephone receptionist if you have ANY complaints of breast pain, lumps, breast discharge, vaginal discharge, pelvic pain, fibroids etc. or history of any such things as I have described to you. DON'T BE EMBARRASSED about how long it's been between checkups or if you can't remember your checkups. KEEP NO SECRETS!

Tell them your medical history in these areas so they can get you the proper help that you need. Women, This is about YOUR LIFE!
