Why I write the way I do?
Why I write the kinds of things that I write about in my 13 "columns"?
Some of you have been talking to me about my Blog and I have also received some e-emails on my personal account. People all over the country as well as in China have been reading! Thank you for your remarks. The things I write about seem to be of great interest. I appreciate your interest. I work hard at writing things that matter. There are some things that just need to be uncovered, like issues that are in my "For Women Only! column. Self-Esteem and relationships issues forever plague our Society and it greatly affects women! My 5 part article series on "Rumors" have gotten some interesting feedback. The things I said were painful to some, but others said I wrote things that were "true". That it "needed to be said." Others were skeptical until they kept reading. They understood and applauded what I wrote, especially in the mentioning of the DAMAGE that Rumors and Gossip causes.
I was encouraged to "keep writing." and to keep uncovering!
Whether you agree or not with my writings...
BE CHALLENGED, THINK and GROW!
Though to some, little has been thought about my blog, but it is a communication source that gets all over the world! So, it's not a joke for those of you who think it is!
Still, I will end by saying, writing is a passion! Sharing is a passion of mine also! I enjoy giving gifts and I enjoy sharing what I've learned on my Life's' Journey. So, I also must say that,
I WRITE, not because you read, but you read BECAUSE I WRITE! With that in mind, I will stay true to the guide who told me to write in the first place. He said, "you will write controversial things, but you will also write things that people need." It took a while for me to know how to get my writings out, and a few months later, it happened....
The opportunity came when TWO WONDERFULLY, INSPIRING and SUPPORTIVE people who suggested I share things through blogging!
THANK GOD for THE TWO, " a brother and sister who came to see me at work a few months ago, who said, "you have much to share beyond what you are already sharing being here in this place, doing what you do the way that you do it. The world needs to hear your thoughts." They suggested blogging and they even told me how to set it up. "Write like you speak, The brother said. The world will listen." Two total strangers who changed my life for the better and hopefully some of yours too, through my writings.
And so...I write.
