MEETTA'S READERS - WORDS OF SUPPORT

Thank you Readers,
For your words of encouragement. This is where I share your comments.

L. -From Garden City, Michigan
March 25,2011
By the way, I've been praying for you and your family situation all week. It's so sad to hear all that happened to you and I'm amazed by your strength.
Man!, Meetta, you've been through a lot and I can understand why you've wanted to keep your distance from some of them. You can't control them. You can just control how you react to them, what you do with your life and what it is. You amaze me!

Meetta said:
Thank you, my friend. This was very kind of you to say to me. And I must tell you, it is very lonely being a victim of abuse. So, your words of support means more than you know! Because, when a person is put into a situation like I and my mothers sons' were it's very lonely. Especially, when you have people in your family that have never come to grips with the depth of the situation, nor accepted or demanded accountability, it's easy to find yourself lonely and the victim again.

...Lonely because, often you can't go to or don't know who to go to whether friends, or family. Family in particular is a tough situations when it comes to not knowing who to go to in the family for comfort, protection, true understanding and support. Lonely also, because you are bound by secrecy. That secrecy is covered in shame and cast you into a pit of darkness. Toss into that mixture, the abusers threats of greater violence including death and what you have is a very, very lonely, confusing and hopeless situation.

A victim, again.... because of the agony that you are forced to face because some of those relatives and family friends, have not faced their own personal issues of guilt, shame or helplessness over what you and your siblings went through! Maybe they could have helped and didn't! Now that you have survived and still around, they have to look at you from time to time and maybe are being secretly tormented as well by their own conscience. Perhaps they see you at family gatherings that I and my family have been having lately because of a death in the family and those people become reminded! And instead of assuming accountability for even their own personal issues over the matter, they direct their angst in other directions, including in yours!
Now you are faced with another struggle connected to your abuse, maintain that the problem is with those feeling those emotions and recognizing the problem is not with you! You are once again, wrongly and unfairly forced to find and fight to maintain your place of victory in the twisted matter, that has once again targeted you! Somebody is once again trying to use you as a scapegoat, just as my abusers did, because they didn't know how to or just didn't seek out another way to deal with their problems, so they found a way to pin it on you. Now you have to a battle that you shouldn't have to keep fighting! So, you choose to stay away and face the reality of not having a supportive loving family that you felt you had a right to with your blood relatives. So, you create your own with your with friends, your mate and your children, refusing to be without that which is a human need. This is where my strength continues to grow... in my refusal to let the wrongs and horrible, weak actions and thoughts of others keep taking away that which is precious to me. So, at 43 years of age I continue to speak out, refusing to let them take my voice, my freedom and dignity away from me... again! Perhaps, this will help someone else find their freedom, their voice and regain their dignity as well.

And No. You can't change the past, but accept that it happened, find your place in the matter, put the blame in its proper place and work from there. "Change the things that you can and accept things you cannot." Yes, Forgive: forgo, release; and take back the offense,(which is what true forgiveness really is), but recognize the truth! Seek accountability where there is hope for it.

See, accountability opens the door to personal growth and can help with healing.
And it is a very powerful thing to take ownership of your actions. It shows great strength, courage, wisdom, brevity and can bring unto you, honor, dignity while you earn the respect and trust of others! You can forgive somebody, but even with forgiveness, you don't have to trust them by letting them back into your life! Trust and Forgiveness are two totally different things! Let's keep that straight! Even if a person has not taken sincere strides to make amends by at least owning up their actions, then I forgive them meaning I release them, don't hold nothing over their heads. I will be kind and generous toward them giving them "food when they are hungry and drink when they are thirsty", but I will let them be where they are and go my way! Because if they don't take further steps towards ownership of their actions, they can't be trusted and may very well be more inclined to repeat that which they are accustomed to.

As for my family, Let it be known, that on this past Monday night on March 21,2011,
I opened the door for this particular son of my mothers',to take accountability when
I told him in front of two of my Uncles that "at a certain point, not now, but I would like to talk to you" and he dismissed me, saying he saw no point in it. Later, he and an uncle got into an argument and as he stormed out, he saw me, pointed at me in front of all the family and said it "this is your fault!" Now, keep in mind that I haven't seen this person (my mothers son),(the one who started sexual, physical and emotional abuse on me and turned two of my other brothers and 3 of their friends on me as a child), for the past 20 years! But he blames me for what he's going through now with somebody else in the family! Just for the record, I was 5 when the abuse started. Even when I was 12 years old,
(he was 18), this same brother, once followed me into the bathroom and began to undo his pants. I started to scream and he slipped right back out the door. Only to kick me in stomach later with both feet, becaue I wouldn't let him touch me. And when I was little and "my brother" was having forcible sex with me his sister), he would talk to me and taunt me telling me the same thing then, "This is your fault" I'm doing this to you!" ...The same thing he said that night, recently at a relatives house! One of my Aunts defends him without knowing the full truth, saying "he was a boy when he that to her! Leave him alone! He's trying to get on with this life, but he can't because people keep bringing this up to him! Leave him alone!" Though he was in and out of juvenile and jail by then, having left his abusive legacy to continue with 2 other of my mothers sons, and me... This particular mother's son was 18 when he last tried to molest me and later kicked me in the stomach, bruising my insides, because I wouldn't let him touch me. From that and alot of other things, they locked him up again! He was not a boy. He was a man! In America, at 18, he is considered to be an adult. NOT a boy, but a man! .......(Pause for thought.) God help that Aunt of mine. God help us all!
"IT'S YOUR FAULT!", he said to me!
LORD! LORD JESUS! That's evil! It's evil! And it's denial running rampant.
It's cowardly, weak, and destructive even now! And everybody, including family and friends, that are around him loving on him, not holding him accountable and not helping him properly deal with his pain, is at fault. If they truly love him, they would hold him accountable for his actions towards me and everyone else he hurt, taking the blinders off. Helping him with accountability, even through his own pain. In fact, if he develops a healthy understanding of accountability and responsibility on his part, it will also help him put accountability on those person that let him down as well and he will find that it will help him find his emotional freedom. Put things in their proper place. Because otherwise, he is a bomb waiting to explode! But for them to help him properly, some of them have got to face their own giants first in areas that pertain to this situation! And unfortunately, if he, my mothers son, doesn't come to terms with himself, he is going to destroy himself and everybody around him. And that is why I blatantly and openly warned my 20 year old son of the dangers of getting involved in this mans life.

And 2 days after the incident when my mother's son, refused the opportunity to speak with me about the matter of of our childhood, having a chance to acknowledge and take responsibility for the havoc he wreaked and also blamed me for his grief with my Uncle...he met my son, at a relative house. My son who doesn't know this man, My mother's son! My son never laid eyes on his "Uncle" before that day, because he, my mother's son, has been in prison since my son was a few months old! My son is 20! So, I watched and listened as this man told my son, "the past is the past" I want to know you now." My son told him, "Dude, I don't know you!", but he shook his hand smiled, in awkwardness. He saw me sitting there and smirked at me when he passed my by. Only to also tell my son,
"I'll be in contact with you. We'll talk." And he wanted my son to take his number down.

Oh, no they won't! Because Right then, I told my son "I do not want you around that man. He is dangerous." I've explained to my son, why I am so adamant about this. My son is MY Son! Others can let that man be around them, their children and grand children all they want, but I won't! And if anything happens to them because they ignored that this man(their nephew and friend) is a known pediphile, child molestor, rapist and has not shown any proof that he's been rehabilitated. For instance, He has not shown remorse in this regard or taking sincere accountability in FULL, COMPLETE TRUTH, for even the evil which he put upon his own sister, me! If something does happen, they will be held accountable for any incident that occurs with him! And last I heard, he was an active Muslim, so no love of Jesus there! There is no healthy fear of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! He is not moved by the name Jesus! All I know is, me and my son won't be around this man. In fact, my son and I are estranged from my mother, and other brothers because there is no outwardly recognition, or accounatibility on their parts as well! Forgive; release? Yes. Trust. NO. Keep in contact? NO. Don't have to! God loves me us all! But "If you know the wall hurts, then why keep banging your head against it?"

I love my son and care about this well being. And though many mothers have miserably failed in this area, a mothers job is to protect her children no matter how old they get! Protecting them, even from themselves as wisdom directs. The phone number of my mothers sons, have since been deleted from my sons phone. We are moving and they are not even allowed to know where we live! In fact, they don't know now, not even my mother! And if our family loves me and my son like they claim they do, they will understand what I'm saying and the action I have taken to arm my son with knowledge for his own protection! Those relatives and family friends will ALSO tell and keep that man away from us, outside of a family gathering.

You are right, my friend! It does matter what I do with my life and how I react to them. I also understand I can't control my family, even in how they view me! I don't much care anymore, (especially after the events of earlier this week) which is a good thing! Because many of them still have issues and their own thoughts about how I grew up. And I realize, no matter how many books I write, how many passionate pleas I give about admitting truth and taking accountability... no matter how many people who hear my story come to Christ or go on to live better lives in part because of something I said...It won't matter, to some of the relatives and family friends because they may never see my life the way I, or even the way Jesus sees it!

And for that, they will forever be bound in that area. I, on the other hand, have and will continue to experience much freedom, strength and JOY in my life, because I have faced my giants, like the biblical person, King David did with Goliath. By the power of God, I have slayed many and will continue to gain strength and courage enough to slay many more giants in this situation and every other situation in my life. The word of God, loving understanding people who have walked on my lifes' journey, with me, surrounding me and my son with their love, patience and wisdom, chastisement, holding even me accountable for my actions...along with faith, confidence, courage and my determination to not let my life "be a waste" (as I was told as child that my life would be)... is what has helped shape me into person I am today, the person that you honor with your support. I tell my story, because I don't want someone else to have to suffer like I did , if I can prevent it! I very much want healing for my family and those closest to us. But that won't completely come if other don't face what happened! Fear, keeping it quiet, denial, and lack of responsibility is not helping anything or anyone! And I for one, know that I have not grown in some of my family members eyes, especially that one Aunt I mentioned. They see their own pain, shame perhaps, and that pained little girl I used to be, the one they didn't help, rather than the strong, self sufficient, independent, vibrant, creative, intelligent, outspoken, passionate, woman that I have become. For these reason, I speak out!
Lastly, Praise be to Jesus that he drew near to me and called me unto himself. Because otherwise, I would not be the woman you stand in amazement of today. Praise be to God.

Thank you again, my friend, so very thoughtful of you.
Reader, I apologize for writing so much in response, but this was very close to my heart. Hope it helps somebody grow!
Sincerely, Meetta

ON THE JOB- Combining Work & Family

Hey! Long time no "see"!
I haven' t written much for "On THE JOB" lately, but don't worry, there is always something to write about how our jobs affect us, both positively and negatively. Either negative or positive, The thing is, we NEED TO LEARN how to use these things to grow! Grow for the necessary advantage of being a well balanced employee, employer, and Management in between! While it is true that many people on the job, seem to have their lives in fine balance, there are many who have yet to reach that plateau!

So with that in mind, today's topic is...
"Combining work and family."

If you are like most working people, you have many obligations or "hats to wear." You may be the husband, the wife, the parent, the bill payer, the home organizer! You may be the boss or even if you are the labor, an employee, you still find that you have MUCH to be responsible for other than just your job! This is where your life can get really hectic! Somehow, you find that eventually, your life has to have a balance. You want to be successful in work and home, so let's explore a few ways to make that happen!

Parents, you juggle child care arrangement, doctor appointments, school meetings and your child's extra-curricular activities. Adult children, among other things, many of you are taking care of aging parents. You could be involved in many things including running a business, helping out in church organizations, other community volunteer campaigns, and taking care of yourself AND you are expected to be doing well in all of these activities! Whew and WOW!

Your boss depends on you to be alert, aware, creative, timely, dependable, aggressive, productive, multi-task and successful! Your family needs you to be alert, aware, attentive, creative, a multi-tasker, dependable, nurturing, caring and patient! You need you to be alive and able to cope with it all in a duable and sane manner! You also need to have the ability to make plans and prioritize your time!

You need to be successful in all these endeavors and you need to know there are resources to help you manage these areas of your life and manage them well! Your family and friends are a great resource! Another resource is your company! Check to see if your company is one that has Employee Assistance Services. They may provide you with Personal Counseling, Parenting Services, Child Care Services, Elder Care Services (Care resources for that aging parent) and things of that nature. Investigate these services! Now, If your company does not offer these services, there are places amongst the list of Medical Care Providers, local Agencies such as the Department of Human Services and United Way that can assist you with referrals. Often times Church organizations, that can assist you in finding these services as well!

But let's start with your family and friends. They care about you and may value the personal relationship they have with you and you with them! So why not reach out to them and explain your need for support! Maybe they are already giving and supportive people, but there is something else that you need help with. So, talk with them and be honest! Keep family communication alive, open and in good shape!

Connect with your family.
Make time to be together. Whether those you support and consider your close family includes, a close friend, a spouse, children, cousins, aunts Mom and Dad, know that their needs are important despite your busy schedule. Private time with your children (if any) and your spouse or mate, should be at the tops of list when prioritizing your time.

Organize your life.
Learn and use long-range planning techniques at home and at work. Organize your household so it can operate smoothly even when you are not around! Use tried and "effective" time management skill at work to streamline your job and reduce stress."

Enjoy your leisure time.
Although it is good to share leisure time with close relatives and friends, remember to take some time for yourself! "Alone time" or "Me time" is a good time to rejuvenate, refresh and relax, taking care of you. It is a a good time to exercise, engage in a hobby and find other positive ways to enjoy your personal time with yourself!

Let go of perfection.
Accept the fact that you are normal! And that you make mistakes!
Realize that it is impossible to be a perfect anything! You cannot be the "perfect Parent" spouse, daughter employee or boss. There is a level of success in those area that you wan to reach, but sometimes you are going to fall short. Something is not going to to work out the exact way in which you planned it. "Life is what happens while you're making plans."
So, accept it already will you! Just do your best and be the best you, you can be! The rest will fall "in" or "out" of line. Wherever it falls, let it rest and go on! You'll be fine.

BYE for now!

Men, Women & Children-CHILD SUPPORT, Pt. 1

HEY!
WELCOME BACK to where I talk about all issues concerning MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN.
I talk about everything from individual issues that affect each group separately, I talk about relationships to issues that affect the family scenario like ...CHILD SUPPORT!

And that just happens to be the subject matter of today! By the way, when I told my son about y writing about the child support issue a few months ago. He asked me a few weeks later, "Mom, did you write it?", I said "Write what?". He said, "The article on CHILD SUPPORT. Did you write it?" When I answered him that No, I had not. He asked me why. After I had answered he said was adamant that I should.

Now Reader, you may be questioning this, Why would her son want her to write about this highly tense and volatile subject? The answer is, is because he and I have been greatly affected in our own lives, ( as a single parent family,) by the issue of Child support. It is not just the money, but it is about the processes and actions of people who refuse to pay it, to care for their child or children! It is ALSO ABOUT, what the issue of child support does to the child in question. Sometimes the situation is good or at least amicable between parents on the issue of paying and spending the monies on the children appropriately. The kids get taken care of and that's the beginning and end of it.

Other times, that is not the case! And the lack of that extra money, depending on that custodial parents situation, GREATLY AFFECTS the way that the child needs get met! Whether or not the child has enough food in the house to freely eat, or have socks and shoes as they are needed, comes into question or at least it should! What about the money going towards helping the custodial parent keep a roof over them and the child (children heads). The kids have to have a place to live also! Most often, WHERE THE PARENT GOES, THE CHILD GOES!

IF THE PARENT GETS HOMELESS Because, say they lose their job and can't pay the bills, for example, that Child support gets to be very important! So therefore, Child support does directly affect the child! It should ALWAYS be more about the child, than about the parents issues with themselves or with each other! Know that in many Child support cases, the Dad (but not always) is the one who has to pay child support (the payer). Even though many of them regret, resent and blatantly refuse to pay or bargain with the court to pay as little as possible. They think they are getting away with something if they have to pay a smaller amount they know they can or should pay! Many of them, though they complain about paying, don't want the full responsibility of caring for the child as the custodial parent. So, they leave the child with the mother or someone else, only still to complain, gripe and run away from their responsibilities when paying the money is the easiest part of child rearing!

In the scenarios I am closely affiliated with, the men are all the expected payers and many of them resent it! The men I am thinking of resent it because of several selfish and cruel reasons.
The fact that they are selfish is a MAJOR reason. Being self-centered IS NOT A great character trait to have as a parent! Many people are so selfish that even after the child is here on earth, they decide to put that attention on themselves and abandon the child because the child needs so much! Remember that the baby is here on earth BECAUSE OF YOU! It didn't come here on it's own! It had a little help! You made your bed, now lie in it and buy some diapers (regularly) and you dead beat!

Another reason for parents not wanting to take care of the child is grudge holding. They are angry with the custodial parent so they take it tale their anger out on the kid, refusing to pay the mother for the care of the child. Some of them will even try to find fault with the mother's spending, (un-rightly so) asking close relatives, friends and EVEN THE CHILD, (no matter how young they are) to keep tabs on the mother's spending! This can hurt the child, taking sides and being used as a spy for the evil, selfish deeds of the payer of the child support! Children just want to be loved. They don't deserve nor understand nor care to be used! So grow up you childish men ( women). 'Cause One day that child is going to grow up and see you for what you really are...A selfish dead beat who needs help! You end up being someone your own child takes pity on and even may go to God on your behalf in prayer! The child ends up caring for you WAY MORE than you care for them! You don't' deserve it, but they do it anyway.

Some of these men are my relatives, so I know what I am talking about. And again Dear Reader, as I have written about in other posts,...I also take public transportation, so I have heard lots of discussions out in the public in my lifetime of travels, in and about the city. That also makes me qualified to say what I am about to report to you 'IN TRUTH'. I've known men not to pay child support because they "hated the mother". They couldn't be with the mother so they refused to take care of the child! Some just wanted sex, and was so careless and selfish that they didn't use protection and out come a baby, the spitting image of them! Then they call the mother stupid or a whore for having sex with them! (Funny how they NEVER CONSIDER
THEM SELVES MAN WHORES! The woman could be the nicest and most non-whorish woman you know, but to them, all of a sudden, she's dirty! OH! READER we are going to get deep with this topic today! That's why I had trouble getting up the energy to write about Child support, because it is so much more surrounding it than just money! I can tell you now, this is going to be a series!

Child support is more about assuming responsibility ALONG WITH letting your child or children know that you care about them! It is NOT about the custodial parent of the child, to whom Child support has to be paid to, as guardian of the child or children! So stop the crap! If it really is an issue the you need to take that through the proper channels, the court! But in a great number of the cases, particularly those I personally know about, the men just DON'T WANT TO PAY or buy clothes, food, school supplies, baby sit..NOTHING! Then as the child grows, they expect the child to trust and respect them. P-SHAW! YEAH RIGHT!!!

On tHE jOB-Feeling Shortchanged On The Job

HAVE YOU EVER FELT SHORTCHANGED ON YOUR JOB?

Meaning, have you ever felt cheated out of something as an employee on your job? Whether it was deserved recognition for a job well done, lack of salary that was rightfully due you, or even if you were not given the correct and sufficient amount of supplies in order for you to do your job as best as you could?

If you have felt anyone of these things or a host of other things then this article is for you. This whole "on The job" column is dedicated to you! This column is about experiences on the job, situations that arise maybe involving other co-workers and management both. This column is a place where I, you, get to vent, share our experiences, get some answers on how to best deal with those kinds of situations and hopefully "grow " from them. It is important to grow and mature! Many people let themselves get stunted by experiences and they never really come out of the situation to learn how to live their best life, enjoying life and all it has to offer. Unfortunately, in order to grow, we've got to be challenged on all sorts of levels, even in the work place! "Tried by fire", as it were.

So, let's "talk". Again, I ask you, have you felt short changed on the job?
Well, I can't speak for you , but I know that I have felt that way and many times over! I've been working for a very long time, so I've had my share of experiences in feeling shortchanged! Started my first paid job at
15 years of age, when I was a Police Cadet working through the Youth Summer Employment Program, through the City of Detroit. Not 15 anymore
(Thank GOD for maturity and wisdom), but I've been working ever since.

I have shared with you in other posts on my blog page as to what my occupation currently is, but for those of you who don't know, I am a Professional Public Speaker, Re-enactor and Story Teller. I perform "shows" in local areas. Along with many of my co-workers, I "perform" these "shows", for thousands of people each year by making stories come to life! Often times, I and my fellow employees, are asked to dress up in costume and perform certain re-enactments in order to help the audience "see the picture" of the story that we are telling! In doing so, for the last several years, I have had the privilege and the honor of working with one of my dear friends and colleagues. When we work together, our "shows" run like clock work!
We do our individual things, but we are a team.

Anyway, So, the scenario in which my friend and I are to work in is like a stage set of an old house and we pretend to "set up house." We tell our stories, acting like women down in an old Sothern town. We even cook and clean. Yes! We actually get real food to show the audience (which they love) Sometimes, MANY TIMES, people tell us, "I've been here before, and even got some old fashioned recipes. "We love the stories you tell and especially THE WAY that you tell them!" This is our favorite place!" We've even had young kids tell us, you guys are fun!

People come to us and are "entertained" while they are learning history of the way it was, from us as "characters". My friend and I are very good at what we do because we like to "play" with our audiences as well as inform! See, we understand that many people who come to our "shows" don't just want to be talked at! THEY WANT TO BE ENGAGED!
Many of them want that interaction between them and us as 'PERFORMERS'. They want their children to learn and have fun as well! Some of my other co-workers, take their job too seriously and try to pour all of the detail into people about the past, but you have to have a balance. Yes! My friend and I give them information, but we also give them that interaction that many of them pay to come enjoy. Oh! My friend and I always make sure that we engage their children as well as the adults. That is important that a "good Story Teller" engage and include the children as well, they are just as important to what we are supposed to be doing out there! They are our future and our job is to "educate" them too about our history's past.

Here's the shortchange I felt lately though. In preparing for our "weekend shows", we were not given the best supplies with which to create our house set up to make it more believable with food cooking. And in my profession, detail is very, very important! So, I was appalled at some of the food we were given to cook for "the house". We were given a wormed out, rotting crate of fruit that laid on the ground for days! By the way, we don't have to eat this stuff, it's really for the "re-enactments" as we bring to life, the stories that we tell! But, there has been times in the past when I was told (by a certain person) that "it looks more authentic when we eat in front of the audience." I was even questioned by that person a number of times as to why I wouldn't eat the food! Also, there is another person who recently delighted in the fact that they like the fact that they get to "taste everything that we cook." So, if you know you want people to eat it, then WHY BRING ROTTEN FRUIT? My friend was there the day they were delivered and she said they were rotten then! She refused to go through them at all and that is how I ended up going through them!

Even still, if we are expected to perform our best then we should be given the best in which to perform it with. If we are expected to do our best on the job, then our best should be provided for! This is just not about apples! But, as for the apple situation, it is fair that I also include, later we were given fresh apples, but we should have been given those in the first place!
It may not seem like a big deal at first glance, but we do what we do, for the guests.
So, FOR THEM, we should ALL being doing OUR BEST on the job!

"Talk to ya" next time at ON THE JOB!

HOW DO YOU BECOME...?-Your Vision

In "How do you become...?" is where we talk about certain career aspirations and how to practically obtaining that position. today though,
I won't name a particular career, instead I am going to discuss
a key element that is essential to reaching your goals.

HOW DO YOU BECOME...? A Goal Reacher, A Dream Fulfiller is...
Out of love Dear Readers, Is why I say this to you...

First of all...
"STOP TRYING TO EXPLAIN YOUR VISION to the VISION-LESS!"
Also, BE CAREFUL who you hang around and entrust with your dreams and visions for yourself! In other words, For those people in your life that don't understand or support the dreams and goals you have for yourself, STOP TRYING to get them to see what YOU see! Sure, Some of those same people may have visions for their company, their church and their family, but for some reason, they can't or won't share YOUR VISION
about you! What you want out of life and what you are determined to go and get for yourself!
Some of them may even RESENT the fact that YOU dare to dream!
Don't be shocked by that!

Some people use other people as mirrors, for what they have, want, will not have and or want to become. YOU may just be their unwanted mirror of comparison! Just STOP TELLING them what your plans are for yourself!
If they don't get it, won't get it, seem uninterested, unexcited, doubtful and talk down to you about it, realize that and stop trying! As much as you want that person to believe in your vision, the way YOU believe in it, for some reason they are not doing it! And if you pursue their support, you might just end up taking the focus off of what' s really important (your goals) and putting the focus on that other person and their misery! Wanting support from people is natural, but giving over to that end could be just that ...the end! Every one of us is accountable for what we do with the precious gift of life and talents that we have been given. Why are you listening to negative talk, hanging on to doubters and not PREPARING, PERSISTING AND PURSUING the life you really want! If that person you are seeking support from, help from, guidance is say...LAUGHING IN YOUR FACE and saying things like "none of us are going to get where we really want to be" and they cover that up by more laughter...that's your cue that they DO NOT BELIEVE in you! And yes! That happened to me, RECENTLY!
