February is "Black History Month."

A National month of Recognition, (at least for most American states). Recognition for the contributions and lives of Africa's descendants here in America, a tribute!

Here is mine.

I'm more than just a body,

Smooth brown skin, permanent beyond a tan.

Voluptuous breasts, pear shaped hips.

I offer more than stereotypical, fantasy sex.

I AM A BROWN SKINNED WOMAN!

Rich in culture, Proud of my heritage.

I embrace our traditions.

I can and have endured many things.

Some so unfairly heaped onto me.

I have an amazing, blessed, God given strength!

I boggle the worlds' mind, time after time.

I can't be enslaved and torn down too long.

My soul is gonna find a way

to be free.

My spirit is strong and will live on!

Somehow, some way... it will!

I AM A BROWN SKINNED WOMAN!

Mother of beautiful, brown skinned children,

teaching them how to succeed and survive,

even in the face of evil.

Teaching them to learn to wear their skin color, as a badge of honor.

It is a gift, NOT A SIN...to have their color of skin!

(Don't be fooled children, people pay THOUSANDS of dollars,

and spend many hours, sometimes with great pain,

to have darker skin! Like the skin you're born in!)

...Mothers

Loving those children with great passion, but taming those children

when they are wild, some of us...many of us caring,

Brown skinned women.

The ones that don't get applauded.

Raising our children,

many of us doing the best we can, keeping house and taking care of business,

with and without a man.

I have the distinguished honor of being

A BROWN SKINNED WOMAN!

Strong,

Intelligent, independent, beautiful, Exotic

REGAL!

Vibrant, funny,complex, lovable, sincere, AND

unforgettable!

I am a formidable being to be reckoned with.

People all over the world,

for centuries, revel in...

My style, the way I wear my hair, my form of expression.

The way I move, dance, walk!

The way I pray, sing, talk!

I cook a great meal.

I'm ingenious, totally creative!

My inventions improve and change the way the world operates.

First woman millionaire, created beautiful products with which you comb your hair.

On your washer, I put the ringer there!

Without the "proper education", I was denied,

I created the schematics for the torpedo dis-charger on your submarines.

I ran the underground railroad

that helped relocate our enslaved brothers and sisters.

I wasn't the only one, one of many,

but they hunted me as if I was.

Still...I never was caught!

Even with a bounty on my head, the highest bounty for a woman,

the highest bounty even for a man, at that time!

I NEVER WAS CAUGHT!

I found my way lead by the stars in the sky!

I AM A BROWN SKINNED WOMAN!

I sang songs of code

just to be able to pray, encourage, and bond with my people

in the days of old.

I am a MAGNIFICENT Creation!

Yes! Dear Reader,

I too am an African descended woman of Color!

MY name is MEETTA JEWELLE MARTIN!

You can't tell me my place in this world is low, for I am among a people who serve a God that "sits on high". When my Great, Great Grandmother, (Lula Mae's grand mother, I don't know her name, darn!)

and mothers like her, were working long hours, getting scorched by the sun, planting that tobacco, slopping them hogs, taking care of them Masa's chillin' and picking that cotton beside their children...they held on!

That cotton...

cutting up their arms, sticking even through their long sleeves, pricking fingers,

without mercy and no profit for them. They had no freedoms, no say so. They had no one, no government to protect them. They could be beaten, traded, sold, raped, maimed and killed.

Every culture had their own problems.

Still, it happened to mine!

It happened to my grannies and my grannies before them. Yet and still...

they held on!

Fending off them European men folks, unwanted affections, protecting their daughters...they held on!

While cruelties of bondage were heaped up on them, they held on.

While lies of "their place" in life, were drilled into them, they held on.

They Held on to truth about who God said they were...

A people he was going to use to break AND change the world!

A people of unusual giftings and talents.

A people of great strength and strong spirits.

These women BELIEVED, in these freedoms and promises no matter how long!

Even while watching their men lynched and their spirit beat out of them many of those women... held on!

Believing in that freedom, like the children of Israel.

No matter how long!

Many of them believed this for the generations they couldn't even touch yet!

For many of you, for me, they held on!

With precious cargo's of brown skinned babies on their backs, while performing whip driven labor...They held on!

THEY ARE THE REASON I AM HERE! I won't let them down!

Grandmother! All my mothers before me... I would want you to know me now,

to hold me, to teach and show me, but all I have is your memory...your legacy.

I promise you, I WON'T sit quiet!

I WILL keep PRAYING!

I WILL keep following the God (the great I am) & his son, The Christ, like you did.

I WILL keep speaking my heart!

I WIll keep lifting that unique voice of mine, that came through you!

I will continue to use that voice in encouragement of others, to uplift and

not tear down, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR SKIN SHADE!

Concern and love, tears down evil.

It educates and unites us through humanity!

I know Grandmothers! I know!

I will keep moving forward.

I will keep my virtue, once regained.

A Woman of knowledge, morals, conviction, forgiveness, passion and truth, I am..like you, grandmothers!

I love in my life. When I love, I love with every fiber of my being!

Heaping compassion on those who come to me needing it...A kind word, support in a hug, food for them and their kids, if I got to spare.

Mothers before me, I won't let you down!

I would want you to know me now, to teach me, to hold me, to scold me 'cause you would do it in love, to grow me.

This column is where I share with you what I am passionate about!

QUESTION...

WHY IS IT THAT...men are " MACK DADDIES" , "PLAYERS" or Self -Proclaimed "DOGS"

(they say this with pride) and ...

WOMEN are WHORES or HO'S ???

Why is there such pride (which is technically NOT a virtue) behind this way of thinking In the first place? I think it stupid that the men, those "WHORE MONGERS", (what they REALLY are), are the ones who create the whores in the first place and mock that which they create!

All of the stories for creating these "whores" are different true enough, but some, many of them came out of the Love 'em and leave em' stages of the "man whores" or whore mongers life.

Many of these women, valued people of society, were rewarded with the great dis-honor of being locker room trash talk, lunchroom bragging and notches on the belts of those who did not deserve their value. The women these men had sex with, could have been very nice, virtuous and even a virgin BEFORE these "DOGS" got a hold of them! That's right I said it! Again I say...YOU DID NOT DESERVE THE WOMAN'S VALUE YOU DOG!

According to my friend D., in her opinion, a lot of men don't realize how much damage they cause the woman when they treat the woman this way. She said, "I think it's a game they play." Not knowing that for most women it's not a game. There are some women players, too! They'll go for married men, take the man from the girlfriend and toss his butt aside when they get him. They'll have sex and move to the next, take his little heart after they wrap it around and stick a shish kabob skewer through it,

"Like he's done'! Next! But even in a man's hurt, lots of times, he's not thinking about the women he's hurt. No! He's just thinking about his own pain.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE DID THIS TO ME" and waiting to unleash the next level of his mess onto the next un-supecting victim because HE'S BEEN HURT!

Some women, it is just a game too for them, but most of us women, we don't want to play no game. We'd rather be alone than go through all of that mess! Unfortunately many of our hearts can't take the sadness of being alone. But I tell you what, WE STILL TRY IT! We join clubs, hang out with our sister girls and every man what come along we dis, for better or worse, until we get to where we need to be inside of ourselves. Now we "good women" now you call "cold hearted, unforgiving, b--ch's!" Yeah! Listen, I have 4 older brothers and I've worked and lived in a man's world all my life, I know what I'm talking about!

A scorned woman is damaged, because the next man that may come along being nice, who may really care for her, he's got to work harder, much harder, and in some cases, much, much harder to break down all the mess YOU created! She may be ruined with anger, frustration and dis-trust. She's through with all of you men! DAMAGED!

Now do you really want to be responsible for creating such havoc in someone else's life. No seriously? I'm asking! Do you hate women that much? Do you hate yourself that much?

To use the precious life and charm that you have been given , using your powers for evil.

um, um, um. What a waste!

What kind of life or social connections do you expect her to have? The wounded woman, that you left behind. Now, there are some women who can just move on like that, but the majority of us, it takes awhile! Some women are SO TRAUMATIZED by "bad guys' selfish actions that they never quite heal. They just go through life not connecting, not having children, not trusting, all because of what...they trusted you! And you have since moved on and don't even remember their name! Um. And off to the next victim you go. Now you are looking at women and saying "Ain't no good women no more" Or if you see a woman with another race of man, now you got a problem with it! But you may just be the one who jacked her up like that!

When a woman gives her body to a man, especially ones she trusts and perhaps maybe even have given her heart and opened her soul up to, ....

She IS REALLY GIVING YOU all that she possesses!

There IS NOTHING more valuable of her own that is more valuable than these! When she shared it with you, letting you in, she was REALLY GIVING YOU THE HONOR of her riches, her body and herself. Some of you repaid her by trash talking and bragging, dumping her even. And oh my gosh, don't let her have honored you with bearing your child, then she REALLY IS STUPID, RIGHT? When actually, YOU or your "boy" is the stupid and dis-illusioned one!

Stupid for not being able to see, nor comprehend the "gift of a woman's love" the has been freely heaped on you, often times without much asked in return. At least nothing much that you shouldn't be able to give back twofold! A woman's body is like a woman's heart...it is most often not freely given to just anyone and it is priceless! Even though this world

has put a price on it. $5.00 for a blow job. That 's right, that's the price for that "crack heads" services. She's just a crack head right? ...

Not a woman, some body's daughter, girlfriend, wife, or maybe she's some child's MOTHER! To you and your boy, she's a nobody, a nothing...a slave to her dependency. A slave for you to continue to and further abuse. As if she don't have problem enough.

NOW LISTEN, before you all get so shocked about what I just said, I've lived in this world all of my 42 years! I have heard and seen many things on the news, on the streets as I pass everyday,

while taking public transportation I've heard many conversations. I've seen in the movies, on the television! Some stuff has even happened in the families of my dear friends, church members and even in my own family! Have you been so sheltered that you, even the suburbs, or in that corporate world of yours, that you are so ignorant to what 's happening with maybe your daughter, sister, mother, Aunt, boss, neighbor, maybe even yourself, you can't even admit it? COME ON, for Christ sake and your own, come on!!!!! Come on down...Get off that blind and ignorant way of living. Open up your mind, stop covering your eyes and look!

Pay attention! And be color blind about the thing because it don't have nothing to do with only the Blacks, Puerto Ricans, Asian or whatever. White Anglos, Europeans, rich, poor, married,

un-married, homo, straights, and both! It also includes the old and the young! COME ON!!!!! Come on down, get down off of your high horse! Employed, un-employed, the boss, the owner and the employee! I see the white men in the neighborhood with their sports cars blowing and calling out them women. I SEE!

The little old ladies who sit on their porches and walk their dogs, see too! THE ONES WHO BABY SAT AND PRAY OVER THEM GIRLS! The ones who fought men like you with they bare hands and lifting of their voices against you! They see too! The men who care about women, for real, also see! I personally know some men in the community who WILL not let you break down the women they know! It'd be some heads rolling!

See people, NOBODY IS LEFT UNCOVERED! SO, COME ON DOWN...COME DOWN OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE AND STOP BEING BLIND and FOOLISH!

Stop being abusive, taking the woman for granted no matter her situation. If you have a decent bone in your body, some strand of morals, some self respect even, realize that YOU DON'T have to add to or become ANY woman's problems. YOU don't have to be that weak one who keeps pimping her out, buying her services, beating her down, sucking the VERY LIFE out of her soul. You don't have to be the one who breaks that "good woman's " heart, with your doggish and selfish ways. You also don't have to keep teaching the younger boys and men these terrible ways either! YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE WHAT LEGACY YOU leave!

How do you REALLY want to be remembered for all time? You can be honest!

Your boys are not around and neither am I. You are sitting at the computer with yourself. No one is around to judge or make snide remarks. Be honest with yourself.

Think about this, WHAT ABOUT your own mother or the woman you really care for?

How would you feel if some man like you, or like the "bad guys", did that to them! You'd be ready to kill somebody, for all the hurt they caused your loved one! UNLESS...YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR MOTHER, THE WOMAN YOU LIKE, YOUR SISTER, DAUGHTER OR THE OWMAN THA TMY BE YORU BEST FRIEND!

B.I.B.L.E.-SALVATION, Pt. 2-FootNotes

Hey there and welcome back to...

Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth.

Last week, we started talking about Salvation and why it is important. The bible says that salvation, is necessary to enter "the Kingdom of God". We will also talk about Spiritual Rebirth, the Holy Trinity and The Holy Spirit. You also need to have faith, which WE ALL HAVE! Everyone is given "a measure of faith", a certain amount of it upon your creation. It is up to you to "grow in faith" in God. You do this with knowledge and experiencing our Lord in your life. Taking note of "heavenly " experiences in other people's lives, through their testimony is another way to grow as well, but it's nothing like having your own personal experiences to grow as proof to grow you!

So, the scriptures I wrote about last time were...

John chapter 3 verses 1-15. Regular B.I.B.L.E. Readers, you already know by now that I use ...

A Life Application Study Bible, N.I.V. (New International Version), but I have to say it for the new readers who are joining us so they will know where I'm getting my information. I also own and use a King James version, for verification. My son, talks to me about reading the biblical scrolls that were written. That would be SO COOL, if we could! Would we even understand them? It would be so amazing to find out! Anyway, gotta pull it together. I do like learning more about the things I am passionate about. Let's move on though.

OK! So last week, I actually wrote out the verses. I wont' do it again this week because it's just so much. I'll leave it up to you to read from your bible or go back and pull that article up so yo can read it from there. What I am going to do is write out relevant foot notes. If necessary, I will add a few discussion points of my own. In the meantime, ALWAYS FEELS FREE TO WRITE ME letting me know your thoughts about what you have read. Just click on the pencil or the word comment at the end of this article. I read them all and I also post the comments for everyone else to read, using discretion, of course.

JOHN-3.1-15

Verse 1

"Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a member of the ruling council ( called the high council, or the Sanhedrin)). The Pharisees were a group of religious leaders whom Jesus and John the Baptist often criticized for being hypocrites (See also Matthew chapter 3 verse 7 for more on Pharisees) . Most pharisees were intensely jealous of Jesus because he undermined their authority and challenged their views. But Nicodemus was searching, and he believed that Jesus had some answers. A learned scholar himself, he came to Jesus to be taught. No matter how intelligent and well educated you are, you must come to Jesus with an so pen mind and heart so he can teach you the truth about God.

Nicodemus cam e to Jesus personally, although he could have sent one of his assistants. He wanted to examine Jesus for himself to separate fact for m rumor. (I love that part!) Perhaps Nicodemus was afraid of what his peers, the Pharisees, would say about his visit, so he came after dark. Perhaps! Later when he understood that Jesus was truly the Messiah, he spoke up boldly in his defense (John ch.7:verses 50, 51). Like Nicodemus, we must examine Jesus for ourselves-others cannot do it for us. Then, if we believe he is who he says, we will want to speak up for him.

Verse 3

What did Nicodemus know about the kingdom? From the Bible, he knew it would be ruled by God, it would be restored on earth, and it would incorporate God's people. Jesus revealed to this devout Pharisee that the kingdom would come to the whole world (Ch.3verse16), not just the Jews, and that Nicodemus wouldn't be a part of it unless he was personally born again (Ch.3 verse5). This was a revolutionary concept; the kingdom is personal, not national or ethnic, and its entrance requirements are REPENTANCE and SPIRITUAL REBIRTH. Jesus later taught that God's kingdom has already begun in the hearts f believers (Luke ch. 1 verse 21). It will truly be realized when Jesus returns again to judge the wolds and abolish evil forever (Revelation ch. 21 verse 22).

Verses 5 & 6

"Born of water and the spirit" could refer to (1) the contrast between physical birth (water) and spiritual birth (Spirit), or (2) being regenerated by the Spirit and signifying that rebirth by Christian baptism. The water may also represent the cleansing action of God's Holy Spirit (Titus ch.3 verse 5). Nicodemus undoubtedly would have been familiar with Gods promise in Ezekiel ch 36 verses 25, 26, Jesus was explaining the importance of a spiritual rebirth, saying that people don't enter the kingdom by living a better life, but by being spiritually reborn.

Verse 6

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT? God is three persons in one-The Father, the son, and the Holy Spirit, (The Holy Trinity). God became a man in Jesus so that Jesus could die for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead to offer Salvation to all people through spiritual renewal and rebirth. When Jesus ascended into heaven, his physical presence left the earth, but he promises to send the Holy spirit so that his spiritual presence would still be among mankind(see Luke ch. 24 verse 49). The Holy spirit first became available to ALL believers at Pentecost (Acts chapter 2). whereas in Old Testament days the Holy Spirit empowered specific individuals for specific purposes, now all believers have the power of the Holy Spirit available to them. For more on the Holy Spirit, read John Ch. 14 verses 16-28;

Romans chps. 8 & 9 and 1st Corinthians ch. 12 verse 13 and 2cd Corinthians ch.1 verse 22.

B.I.B.L.E.-SALVATION!

Hello Readers!

Hello to the faithful few who read,

"Basic Instruction BEFORE Leaving Earth", on a regular basis!

SALVATION, is the topic of discussion today. Yep! Salvation.

You knew this was coming! Even though I have already written about some major things that play a huge part in the life of the Christ follower; Faith, God's victories and blessings, I have to spend much time on the subject of Salvation. Because without it, nothing else about the Christ followers life, really matters!

You know something, in the middle of researching the bible and learning, applying to my own life and teaching you about hospitality, (last weeks topic) I was taken to a scripture that reminded me that even when we are doing righteous things "in our service to God,", we also must not forget to spend time with him, learning who he is and who we are and SHOULD BE, in Him! We do this by studying and reading the word of God, (scriptures & scrolls, if you got em') listening and praying, meditating on "the things of God." How I got to that verse was that I actually was looking up another verse for hospitality) and instead of going to page 2132 in my bible, I went to page 2032, without my realizing it though! Still, I went on reading the same chapter and verse number as was specified by my concordance as to the location of the passage, I thought I was searching for one thing and low and behold...there it was another, reminding me about my time with God!

You know something, sometimes you can read a verse and say , "What does that one have to do with where I am now," and so it seems irrelevant at the moment. But then, other times, the verse you didn't know you needed, upon reading it and meditating upon it, you suddenly realize, Yeeeepppp! I needed that one! And If you are like me, in those special moments, you say without shame, sometimes openly, "Thank You God, Thank You Jesus, for knowing better than I,what I need." "God, You know me so well." In any case, after reading it, I hardly felt right to complete my previous task of writing about hospitality and how that is important to God. But, I became at ease, believing that God is pleased at that as well. But I tell you, I made up in my mind what the NEXT B.I.B.L.E. article (which is this one) would be about. Can you guess the subject matter?

"Sacrifice is good to the Lord, but OBEDIENCE IS BETTER!" according to Biblical Scriptures. So to be obedient to the Lord, without further adu, I present to you, SALVATION, at least, a beginning discussion concerning it. There are SO MANY verses about Salvation. What it is? How do we receive it? What you can expect in your life, from receiving it! So, let's go!

What IS Salvation?

In brief, Salvation is the saving of ones soul from sin and it's consequences. Especially concerning Life after death! It is also act of faith.

Why do we NEED Salvation?

Jesus explains it well in this passage. According to this, you cannot enter into the kingdom of God without it! No matter what you do in this life or how "good of a person" you think you are, there are commitments of faith, in God, that you must make in order to prepare your soul for eternal life in heaven!

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him." In reply, Jesus declared, " I tell you the truth, noon can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked, "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying , "You must be born again." The wind blows where it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." "How can this be?" Nicodemus asked.

"You are Israel's teacher, " said Jesus, " "and you do not understand these things? I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how them will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven - the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

OK! People, as you can see, Salvation has alot going on. This topic is very lengthy and it will be the running topic in the next few B.I.B.L.E. article. So, I will end her and pick it up

NEXT TIME with discussion and footnotes of these verses. In the meantime, I'll leave you to ponder what has already been written. 'Cause it IS food for thought!

Men, Women & Children-CHILD SUPPORT, Pt. 1

HEY!

WELCOME BACK to where I talk about all issues concerning MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN.

I talk about everything from individual issues that affect each group separately, I talk about relationships to issues that affect the family scenario like ...CHILD SUPPORT!

And that just happens to be the subject matter of today! By the way, when I told my son about y writing about the child support issue a few months ago. He asked me a few weeks later, "Mom, did you write it?", I said "Write what?". He said, "The article on CHILD SUPPORT. Did you write it?" When I answered him that No, I had not. He asked me why. After I had answered he said was adamant that I should.

Now Reader, you may be questioning this, Why would her son want her to write about this highly tense and volatile subject? The answer is, is because he and I have been greatly affected in our own lives, ( as a single parent family,) by the issue of Child support. It is not just the money, but it is about the processes and actions of people who refuse to pay it, to care for their child or children! It is ALSO ABOUT, what the issue of child support does to the child in question. Sometimes the situation is good or at least amicable between parents on the issue of paying and spending the monies on the children appropriately. The kids get taken care of and that's the beginning and end of it.

Other times, that is not the case! And the lack of that extra money, depending on that custodial parents situation, GREATLY AFFECTS the way that the child needs get met! Whether or not the child has enough food in the house to freely eat, or have socks and shoes as they are needed, comes into question or at least it should! What about the money going towards helping the custodial parent keep a roof over them and the child (children heads). The kids have to have a place to live also! Most often, WHERE THE PARENT GOES, THE CHILD GOES!

IF THE PARENT GETS HOMELESS Because, say they lose their job and can't pay the bills, for example, that Child support gets to be very important! So therefore, Child support does directly affect the child! It should ALWAYS be more about the child, than about the parents issues with themselves or with each other! Know that in many Child support cases, the Dad (but not always) is the one who has to pay child support (the payer). Even though many of them regret, resent and blatantly refuse to pay or bargain with the court to pay as little as possible. They think they are getting away with something if they have to pay a smaller amount they know they can or should pay! Many of them, though they complain about paying, don't want the full responsibility of caring for the child as the custodial parent. So, they leave the child with the mother or someone else, only still to complain, gripe and run away from their responsibilities when paying the money is the easiest part of child rearing!

In the scenarios I am closely affiliated with, the men are all the expected payers and many of them resent it! The men I am thinking of resent it because of several selfish and cruel reasons.

The fact that they are selfish is a MAJOR reason. Being self-centered IS NOT A great character trait to have as a parent! Many people are so selfish that even after the child is here on earth, they decide to put that attention on themselves and abandon the child because the child needs so much! Remember that the baby is here on earth BECAUSE OF YOU! It didn't come here on it's own! It had a little help! You made your bed, now lie in it and buy some diapers (regularly) and you dead beat!

Another reason for parents not wanting to take care of the child is grudge holding. They are angry with the custodial parent so they take it tale their anger out on the kid, refusing to pay the mother for the care of the child. Some of them will even try to find fault with the mother's spending, (un-rightly so) asking close relatives, friends and EVEN THE CHILD, (no matter how young they are) to keep tabs on the mother's spending! This can hurt the child, taking sides and being used as a spy for the evil, selfish deeds of the payer of the child support! Children just want to be loved. They don't deserve nor understand nor care to be used! So grow up you childish men ( women). 'Cause One day that child is going to grow up and see you for what you really are...A selfish dead beat who needs help! You end up being someone your own child takes pity on and even may go to God on your behalf in prayer! The child ends up caring for you WAY MORE than you care for them! You don't' deserve it, but they do it anyway.

Some of these men are my relatives, so I know what I am talking about. And again Dear Reader, as I have written about in other posts,...I also take public transportation, so I have heard lots of discussions out in the public in my lifetime of travels, in and about the city. That also makes me qualified to say what I am about to report to you 'IN TRUTH'. I've known men not to pay child support because they "hated the mother". They couldn't be with the mother so they refused to take care of the child! Some just wanted sex, and was so careless and selfish that they didn't use protection and out come a baby, the spitting image of them! Then they call the mother stupid or a whore for having sex with them! (Funny how they NEVER CONSIDER

THEM SELVES MAN WHORES! The woman could be the nicest and most non-whorish woman you know, but to them, all of a sudden, she's dirty! OH! READER we are going to get deep with this topic today! That's why I had trouble getting up the energy to write about Child support, because it is so much more surrounding it than just money! I can tell you now, this is going to be a series!

Child support is more about assuming responsibility ALONG WITH letting your child or children know that you care about them! It is NOT about the custodial parent of the child, to whom Child support has to be paid to, as guardian of the child or children! So stop the crap! If it really is an issue the you need to take that through the proper channels, the court! But in a great number of the cases, particularly those I personally know about, the men just DON'T WANT TO PAY or buy clothes, food, school supplies, baby sit..NOTHING! Then as the child grows, they expect the child to trust and respect them. P-SHAW! YEAH RIGHT!!!

For WOMEN ONLY!-STAND UP WOMEN...

To All of the women around the world...

"No matter that we are not related, nor have we met.

Yet we are related by humanity. So, I hereby pronounce you all my Sister Girls!"

Sister Girls, sometimes the world seems against us. So many of us feeling abused, mistreated, disrespected, taken for granted, used as a pawn in a man's self-centered game for love and attention. Many of us having to work two or three times harder than a man just to prove ourselves in the work place etc. etc.. Sometimes a high level of multi-tasking is put on us so regularly that it is not recognized when we are wearing down and need attending to, ourselves!

I wrote the following poem back in 2002 but it still stands strong. I wrote it while watching a television show on women in other parts of the world, and how they were being used, abused and thrown away without justice being done on their behalf. In many cases, justice is not held high EVEN for the women in our own country, the great United States of America! We need to rally, even within ourselves and against the injustices against women. Standing up for yourself or for another can and will continue to make a difference. Though it may feel like it, you are not alone. There have been and will continue to be women, ordinary women making extraordinary changes for you, me, our daughters and the way that we live.

Laughing out loud, why can't we?

Are our captors afraid that our laughter of joy will somehow bring down the walls of their abusive terror causing them to crumble, just like the trumpets of Jericho?

YES! It is possible!

STAND UP WOMEN, BE COUNTED!

Beautifying ourselves, putting on makeup and dressing up to make ourselves feel good intimidates them.

WHY?

Are they afraid we will be empowered by discovering our own beauty?

Thus, using it as a strength to motivate ourselves to move from their insecure, abusive ways?

YES! It is possible!

STAND UP WOMEN, BE COUNTED!

WHAT?

WE cannot go to school educating ourselves, furthering our dreams and goals in becoming

better persons and changing destinies?

WHO ARE THEY to dictate THAT TO US?

AND WHY?

Are they afraid that we will someday outrank them and surpass them in power?

YES, it is possible!

Stand up women, be counted!

They beat us and use us as sex slaves, little girls 8 & 9.

Being raped can scar a body and a mind.

Then they throw them away.

Like their bodies, their spirits break.

Dust to dust, back they go away.

Yet, this is being done to us regularly, time after time!

WHY?

The doomed and evil, taking advantage of low economic tides.

Are they afraid that we may not fear them,

leaving them broke and feeling un-empowered?

YES, it is possible!

Stand up women, be counted!

Those that are doing this to us,

are weak minded, cowardly individuals who can be defeated.

Women,

We are ALSO empowered by the Love, Grace and Mercy of God!

The Great "I AM".

The creator of Heaven, Earth.

He also planned and created you, me, the trees and everything else in it!

He took GREAT care in creating us, the woman.

Eve, the mother of humanity,

was a strong willed, powerful, beguiling force.

She had power even over Adam, the first of man, whom God trusted!

She gave birth to nations!

She was a very rare creature indeed, the first of her kind.

Women...

You are the daughters of Eve.

And the fruit don't fall from the tree!

Yes! You have inherited her traits.

She had a flaw, but her strengths were not depleted.

So, daughters of Eve...

Stand up!

Stand up women and be counted!

By God's Grace, Mercy and Love...

We ARE NOT meant to be abused, mutilated, or controlled by ANYONE!!

STOP...

giving your power away!!

WE MUST DO THIS!

We MUST THINK about the legacy

we are leaving behind for little girls AND the little boys that are watching us.

Men, Women & Children-SEXUAL IMMORALITY! Pt. 1

Hey Yall!

Missed me? I'm back writing and going strong again.

OK! I need to follow up the article from last time. The one titled...

"SHE Calls Her Daughter a b-tch .", posted on February 07, 2010.

This article is subtitled "BIBLICAL DESCRIPTIONS OF SEXUAL IMMORALITY."

It's important that I quickly follow up and write this particular article, for so many reasons! All of which I cannot cover tonight in this article. But there was one thing I promised you in that article that I would write about soon. I mentioned writing about the immorality of Homosexuality and lesbian-ism.

I vowed to expound on the wrongness in that way of living and show you where it is is written about in the Holy Bible. Other sexual immoralities are written there as well. See, your body is supposed to be the temple in which Jesus, The Christ dwells. And when you commit sin with the body, you damage and dirty the temple that is you! God cannot dwell in such places especially without remorse and true repentance (turning away from the sin, the bad action).

Because living in sexual sin is SO DAMAGING, it needs to be written about and constantly exposed. We live in a world that has accepted it so OPENLY. And we wonder why our families, schools, cities, states, the country and the world is so jacked up! Think about the sexually transmitted diseases, the broken marriages, the lies, the children who know not their Daddies. What about the little girls who grow up and become prostitutes and strippers or are raped by strangers, neighbor, brothers, fathers, uncles (any relative, especially!)

We have no idea to the full extent of the problems we've created committing (openly) sexual sin of any kind! I'm just saying, I'm just putting it out there, you know?

But back on the track of homosexuality.

Those who choose this way of living (through their actions) shake their fists at God in anger, telling him he was wrong for making the way they were born. Girl for boy and Boy for Girl. Not Adam for Steve or Eve for Haley! Mind you, in the last article, I said that I am a Christ follower and I would prove to you Dear Reader, that such wrong Living involving homosexuality IS WRITTEN ABOUT BIBLICALLY. No! None of us are perfect, nor are heterosexuals off the hook either! The information I am about to give you covers a variety of sexual sins.

I chose to put this article under my Men, Women and Children column instead of my B.I.B.L.E column (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth). That column is for Christians and those who are seeking, but Gods word is not limited! WE ALL need to know it. God's word and laws are available to everyone, everywhere! So, you have no excuse for not knowing it. The local dollar stores even sell holy bibles!

SEXUAL IMMORALITY IS written about in the Holy Bible. So tonight, I'm going to take you there. So, let's get started.

In the Bible, please turn to...

LEVITICUS 18:1-30

Leviticus Chapter 18 (the whole chapter)

verse 1

"The Lord said to Moses, v.2 speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'I am the Lord your God.

v.3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. v.4 You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God. v.5 Keep my decrees and laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord.

v. 6 "No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations.

I am the Lord.

v. 7 "Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother.

She is your mother; do not have relations with her.

v.8 "Do not have sexual relations with your father's wife; that would dishonor your father."

v. 9 "Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your fathers daughter or your mother's daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere!

v. 10"Do not have sexual relations with your son's daughter or your daughter's daughter.

v.11 "Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father's wife, born to your father; she is your sister.

v. 12 "Do not have sexual relations with your father's sister; she is your father's close relative.

v. 13 " Do not have sexual relations with your mother's sister, because she is your mother's close relative.

v. 14 'Do not dishonor your father's brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.

v. 15 "Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law-. She is your son's wife; do not have relations with her.

v. 16 "Do not have sexual relations with your brothers wife; that would dishonor your brother.

v. 17 "Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son's daughter's or her daughter, they are close relatives.

v. 18 "Do not take your wife's sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.

v. 19 "Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.

v. 20 "Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her .

v. 21 " Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed a to Molech, for your must not profane the name of your God.

v. 22 "DO NOT LIE WITH A MAN AS ONE LIES WITH A WOMAN; THAT IS DETESTABLE.

v.23 "Do not have relations with an animal and defile yourself with it.

A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

v.24 "Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

v.25 Even the land was defiled: so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

v. 26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things, v.27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. v.28 And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

v. 29 "Everyone who does any of these detestable things-such persons must be cut off from their people. v. 30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of these detestable customs that are practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God."

See, I know Dear Reader, that some of you are saying, "but I'm not an Israelite and that was back then!" But God expects a level of standard from ALL OF US..EVERYONE OF US! EVEN NOW!

You need to know something Dear Reader! "God is no respecter of persons."

Yes! The Israelites were his chosen people, but when they turned a blind eye to Christ, God opened up his love and mercy to all the rest of us, giving us the precious opportunity to receive him and be counted as one of his own, his chosen! You need to understand that you ARE NOT immune to his chastisement. I'm also talking to those of you who may be involved in sexual sin, and telling everyone you believe in God! You especially should hold his standards high.

To all of us this is a reminder that there are consequences to wrong actions.

"The wages of sin is death."..."Evil begets evil". "You reap what you sow."

" The day will come when God will no longer wink at sin."

I could go on and on, as to why you don't really want to live doing "detestable" things in the eyes of God. I know some of you may ponder what I am saying and change your ways or views on the matter. Others of you may get angry or just blatantly ignore what I have written, BUT the one thing you CANNOT DO is say,

"No one ever told me this". So remember that, I told and showed you!
