Everybody has to grow up sometime! Growing up also includes moving on and even moving out! As we grow and mature, at some point, we find that although others may be on our side and in our lives, there comes a time when you have to stand ON YOUR OWN. EVERYONE in society has to endure standing their own at some point in their lives, including children! At some point, each child will have to face raising their hand to answer a question with all eyes on them. They are going to have to stand up to that blackboard and face scrutiny when they inevitably get the answer wrong, with the whole class as a witness! Maybe they will have to stand up against bullies in school or even at home! Like I said, at some point, WE ALL, and even the children will have moments in our lives where we will ourselves out on our own!
You are going to find it necessary to stand on your own at some point and time. IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Whether it happens due to situations involving broken intimate relationships, like marriage. Unfortunately, many of us find ourselves raising children on our own, making education choices for them or ourselves. Other "on our own" decisions often include making religious choices, dealing with employment or on the job situations, and even moving into our own homes establishing ourselves away from our parents and friends! Sometimes we even have to establish ourselves after separation or death or after divorce of a Spouse as now a single woman or single man, depending on yourself for financial and emotional support.
Whatever the situation, throughout life, at some point, we end up having to learn to make our own decisions, cook our own food, pay or own bills. You know, taking FULL responsibility for ourselves in every situation. Not always is there someone to help us through every thing we face. A part of growing up is learning how and knowing how take care of yourself and knowing WHEN to stand up for yourself. You are going to have to know to take charge of yourself and be in charge of what affects you directly. How you deal with things in life and what kind of person you become because of it, both directly and indirectly affects even influencing others around you!
Whatever the situation, there are some tips that can help you adjust to your new out "on your own" lifestyle....
