Today, I'm talking about some of my favorite biblical people.
THE BEREANS. Yep! The Bereans.
When I take the effort and time to look up scripture, I am very excited and satisfied. Seeking the wisdom of God is very fulfilling to me. Seeking and searching, reminds me of the thirst and hunger that he desires for me to have, for him and his son. So when I find something in the Bible that I was actually "looking for" even if it takes some time
(Especially if it takes some time) I get kind of giddy like a kid!
It excites me to know that I am growing closer in Christ through the knowledge of God!
It excites me that I, in those moments of searching scripture, honesty trying to grow in God's word, reminds me of his command of obedience and diligence in him! It excites me to know, that in those moments, I m not screwing up! I say that with smile! Because I know,
"For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

Acts 17:11 ~Now the Bereans were of more noble character that he Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul's said was true.

The people in Berea opened the Scriptures for themselves and searched for truths to verify or disprove the message they heard. ALWAYS compare what you hear with what the Bible says. A preacher or teacher who gives God's true message will never contradict or explain away anything that is found in God's word.
